The Center for Science, Mathematics and Technology at Mississippi State University was established in 1996. During this time of service, the Center has been awarded ten multi-year grants totaling over $5.5 million, from agencies such as the National Science Foundation, United States Golf Association and the Appalachian Regional Commission. The Center's programs have impacted hundreds of teachers and students in the state of Mississippi and the nation. These programs have served as a catalyst for industry to partner with education, bridging the gap between the classroom and the workplace, and improving the knowledge and skill base of tomorrows' workforce.
